Software Engineer - Audio Embedded DSP Responsibilities

1. Analyze, design, develop and debug audio features on Android systems.
2. Collaborate in a team environment across multiple scientific and engineering disciplines, making the architectural tradeoffs required to rapidly deliver software solutions.
3. Develop software for a variety of consumer devices.
4. Write clean readable code, debug complex problems, prioritize ruthlessly and get things done with a high level of efficiency.
5. Learn constantly, dive into new areas with unfamiliar technologies, and embrace the ambiguity of problem solving.

Minimum Qualifications

1. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, relevant technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
2. 7+ years of experience OR PhD + 4 YOE
3. 3+ years of software engineering experience of audio software systems including audio DSP or machine learning signal processing development experience
4. Experience in Android or Linux audio stack development
5. Experience developing, debugging, and shipping software products on large code bases that span platforms and tools.
6. Communication experience and demonstrated experience working across disciplines to drive optimal solutions

Preferred Qualifications

1. MS or PhD in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science or equivalent
2. Experience with DSP in the audio domain
3. Demonstrated experience working collaboratively in cross-functional teams.
4. Experience with audio-related software features across all layers of the audio stack

US$85.10/hour to US$251,000/year + bonus + equity + benefits

Compensation details listed in this posting reflect the base hourly rate, monthly rate, or annual salary only, and do not include bonus, equity or sales incentives, if applicable.
