Kentro is hiring a cleared Software/Web Developer to support the National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency.
Responsibilities
- Provide website development and database management support.
- Administer, maintain, develop, and implement improvements to SharePoint sites and subsites.
- Maintain and update websites to support application functionality requests.
- Perform SharePoint Site Collection Services.
- Set permissions for site collections according to the SharePoint Security Model.
- Assess, recommend improvements, and deliver updates to the SharePoint Security Model.
- Create and modify site templates, including developing Style Sheets.
- Monitor SharePoint sizing and usage, developing solutions to prevent threshold breaches and performance issues.
- Submit infrastructure requirements within Service+ for compute, storage, database, SharePoint, or Tableau provisioning.
Location: On-site in Springfield, VA.
Requirements
- 1-5 years of experience with:
- Proficiency in Visual Basic, Java, JavaScript, HTML, Web services, application servers, FTP protocols, and NGA system architecture.
- Experience with geospatial software such as MAPINFO and ESRI Arc suite.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs.
- Experience designing, developing, and implementing Web applications and Web services using SharePoint.
- Data analysis routines for Web services environments.
- Testing and debugging skills.
- Designing and managing SharePoint architecture, site collections, and hierarchies.
- Creating/managing sites with SharePoint and Active Directory groups.
- Experience with SSL certificates and claims-based authentication in SharePoint.
- Troubleshooting customer issues and order discrepancies.
- Working with Master pages, CSS, and design changes.
- Developing templates for site pages, master pages, CSS, themes, and navigation.
- Creating governance documents for SharePoint.
- Problem-solving and solution building skills.
- Teamwork and effective communication skills.
- Logical problem analysis and solution implementation.
- Time management skills.
Clearance: Must possess an active DOD TS/SCI clearance and be willing to pass CI Polygraph.
