Day-to-day tasks to be performed by the Selected Candidate:
Conduct meetings to gather business requirements
Conduct technical design meetings
Document requirements and solutions
Create technical documentation including system and flow diagrams, and detailed architecture/design specifications
Code, test, and implement software modules
Review code and test results of other programmers
Create physical database work tables, temporary tables, and indexes
Coordinate and conduct Unit, System, and Stress testing
Handle Helpdesk Tickets (day-to-day questions and issues)
Participate in projects providing subject matter input and guidance
Software Architect: OnBoard project
Makes high-level design choices and dictates technical standards, including software coding standards, tools, and platforms. Designs multi-leveled architecture or component interactions of a large-scale software system.
Expert 84+ months: Candidate is able to provide guidance to large teams and/or has extensive industry experience and is considered at the top of his/her field.
84 months experience writing PowerBuilder Code.
24 months experience writing PowerBuilder Code, specifically using Version 10.5
48 months experience with databases, including designing Tables, Triggers, Stored Procedures, and writing SQL.
60 months experience with gathering requirements and creating design documents.
