The HIV/AIDS Services Administration (HASA) provides comprehensive services for New Yorkers living with HIV/AIDS, including case management, housing assistance, benefits application support, vocational services, and health referrals. Under the supervision of the Applications Development Manager, the database developer/report designer will be responsible for developing, designing, and enhancing info-structures, implementing, and supporting program-specific software. The role involves: Designing and deploying reports using Microsoft SQL Server Reporting Services for various units connecting to Oracle and MS SQL Server databases. Coordinating design, development, and implementation of HASA database applications, maintaining existing databases, and creating new programs using SQL Server 2016 and above. Analyzing and enhancing existing reports and creating new ones using Oracle, EDW, SQL Server applications, and flat files. Designing and maintaining web-based E-forms in collaboration with the Policy and Procedures unit. Communicating with operational staff to gather requirements and feedback, and recommending web application and database design improvements. Providing technical support for web-based applications and maintaining security modules. Creating ad-hoc reports from various data sources. Coordinating the SRO billing process, managing exception reports, and handling file transfers with HRA FTP servers. Work Location: 375 Pearl Street, New York, NY Hours: 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM Minimum Qualifications: Baccalaureate degree with 24 semester credits in computer science or related field and one year of full-time experience in software development, database administration, or related areas; or High school diploma or equivalent with five years of relevant full-time experience; or Equivalent education/experience as detailed, with at least one year of relevant experience and a high school diploma.
