Job Summary

MathWorks has a hybrid work model that enables staff members to split their time between office and home. The hybrid model provides the advantage of having both in-person time with colleagues and flexible at-home life optimizations.

Working under the direction of the Manager or Senior Team Lead, you will be responsible for:

1. Implementing user-centered design in MathWorks software products for small, self-contained projects.
2. Designing user experiences based on detailed requirements that meet user needs and product vision.
3. Understanding MathWorks’ product directions and developing design solutions.
4. Proposing design ideas based on usability testing, standard UX methodologies, and technical input from research on Simulink workflows and user preferences and behavior.
5. Assisting in design processes, from early ideas and sketches, to wireframes and prototypes, and into active development and go-live.
6. Contributing to requirements and design documents.
7. Collaborating on low, medium, and high-fidelity prototypes.
