Key Qualifications
- 5+ years of professional software engineering experience
- Basic familiarity with design tools such as Sketch or Figma
- Deep expertise with front-end programming for Apple platforms
- Proficiency in Objective-C and Swift (SwiftUI)
- Ability to take designs, sketches, layouts, and workflows and implement them in software
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently and collaborate across a multi-disciplinary team of engineers, researchers, and designers
Description
We are looking for a UI/UX front-end software incubation engineer to create new features for current and future Apple platforms. This role will work at all stages of incubation including ideation, development, and experimentation to realize next-generation ideas. You will actively work across a diverse portfolio of projects, developing exploratory system experiences in concert with designers, software/hardware engineers, and applied R&D teams.
Education & Experience
Bachelor's in Computer Science, Computer/Electrical Engineering, or equivalent work experience.
Pay & Benefits
At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $161,700.00 and $284,900.00, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
Apple employees also have the opportunity to become an Apple shareholder through participation in Apple’s discretionary employee stock programs. Apple employees are eligible for discretionary restricted stock unit awards and can purchase Apple stock at a discount if voluntarily participating in Apple’s Employee Stock Purchase Plan.
