As a member of Apple’s GPU Shader Core team, you will develop power efficient, high-performance 3D graphics processor microarchitectures targeted for low power mobile devices and high-performance personal computers that are used by millions of people every day!

Description

As a GPU Design Engineer, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality, low-power graphics IPs that meet our performance, timing, and area goals. You will explore design trade-offs while applying rigorous design principles. Additionally, you will be required to understand and collaborate on groundbreaking microarchitectural specifications to design best-in-class GPUs. To accomplish this, you will collaborate closely with multi-functional teams in architecture, verification, modeling, and physical design.

Minimum Qualifications

  1. Experience in GPU, CPU, or SIMD architectures
  2. Knowledge of System Verilog HDL
  3. Experience in Logic design, including knowledge of low-power techniques and timing optimizations
  4. BS degree and minimum of 10 years of experience

Preferred Qualifications

  1. Experience writing microarchitectural specifications
  2. Experience in hardware performance analysis and debug
  3. Ability to drive bring up and debug of complex designs
  4. Understanding of synthesis tools, timing analysis, floor planning, and the PNR flow
  5. Experience with scripting languages such as Python, Ruby, or Perl
  6. Ability to work well in a team in order to be productive under aggressive product schedules
