We are seeking an experienced Front + Backend WordPress Web Developer for 100% custom builds and ongoing support for our marketing agency.
- Heavy Part-time, Contractor Position with the potential to go to FT
- Candidate must be able to commit to a daily schedule 5 days/week inside Chariot's Eastern Time Zone business hours (M-Th 8-5, F 8-1)
- Agency experience preferred
The work is primarily custom WordPress support, maintenance, and builds. Preference will be given to candidates with full-stack capabilities to assist with support for a few Laravel websites and bespoke Web Applications/Dashboards with API Integrations. We need a true team player with a can-do attitude who is willing to learn new technologies to make projects successful and handle multiple projects simultaneously.
Must be willing to commit to set hours during which your time is dedicated solely to Chariot. Please do not apply if you will be juggling multiple contracts/clients simultaneously or if you cannot work during our business hours.

- Operate each day as a part of our team (Chat, Email, Calls, Updates, etc.)
- Support Requests — Bug fixes + additions to existing client websites
- Building pixel-perfect websites (mostly custom WordPress), web apps, dashboards, etc. from client-approved designs
- Developing, Editing, and QA on PHP and Laravel sites
- Self-reliance and accountability — thoroughly proofing work
- Monthly maintenance, plugin updates, bug investigations, & client reports
- Working with Project Managers to ensure milestones & deadlines are met
- Tracking your time dependably, abiding by hours budgets
- Following Chariot SOPs and collaborating with our team
- Being innovative and efficient within project parameters & goals
