Job Title: Technical Writer

Role Description

· Experience Required: 4 - 6+ Years

· Software Technical Writer, Software Quality Consultant, Computer System Validation, CSV, URS, FDS, SDS

· Collaborate with the engineering team to author, review, and update technical documentation related to equipment, controls, and software.

· Technical documentation may include life cycle documents such as URS (User Requirement Specifications), FDS (Functional Detailed Specifications), SDS (Software Detailed Specifications), HDS (Hardware Detailed Specifications), Traceability Matrices, Test Plans, Technical Memos, etc.

· Support engineering functions in the CR generation process.

· Generate architectural diagrams, data flow diagrams, network diagrams, system diagrams, detailed process maps, and create templates for troubleshooting and training materials.

· Ensure the accuracy and consistency of technical documentation.

· Manage documentation routing for approval within the quality management system.

· Oversee technical document workflow for assigned projects.

· Support controls engineering by producing, editing, reviewing test plans, test scripts, forms, and other documentation related to assigned projects.

· Author technical training documents for existing or new systems.

· Collaborate with manufacturing and engineering teams to determine process requirements and develop specifications for manufacturing functions, user interfaces, and quality control.
