About AFCENT NOSC The U.S. Air Force Central Command's Network Operations and Security Center (AFCENT NOSC) manages IT services for AFCENT networks 24/7, providing information assurance, boundary intrusion detection, and intrusion prevention for USCENTCOM components. It includes operations, cybersecurity, network engineering, and command support functions, overseeing enterprise network architecture, infrastructure, and services. The NOSC also deploys personnel within the USCENTCOM Area of Responsibility to support, upgrade, and maintain enterprise networks and systems. Contracted support aims to enhance mission effectiveness in a dynamic technological and geopolitical environment. Responsibilities V2X seeks a Network Architecture Design Manager to support the AFCENT NOSC IT contract.
This position is contingent upon successful contract award to V2X. Qualifications Minimum Qualifications: U.S. Citizen with an active DoD Top Secret (SCI eligibility) Security Clearance. Bachelor's degree in a related field. DCWF KSAT Category: 651 Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP) and ITIL Foundations Certifications. At least 5 years of relevant experience with:
Installing Microsoft Windows Server in host and compute environments, including server images. Implementing storage solutions, high availability, DNS, DHCP, network connectivity, remote access, and advanced network infrastructure. Maintaining and monitoring server environments.
At least 7 years of experience with:
Designing, engineering, implementing, and troubleshooting enterprise WAN architectures using protocols like BGP, OSPF, and EIGRP. Firewall configuration and management.
