Our Irvine, CA team is looking for an accomplished UI Developer to support multiple software products and brands, such as www.homes.com and www.homesnap.com. You will impact highly visible web applications used by millions, applying emerging technologies to improve our products.
This position is based in Irvine, CA, with a schedule of 4 days onsite and 1 day remote.
Responsibilities
Convert static mock-ups into semantic, cross-browser HTML5/CSS3/JavaScript templates.
Collaborate with developers to implement your code.
Maintain a library of reusable code.
Advocate for standards-driven technology.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited university (preferably in Computer Science or related field).
Proven commitment to previous employers.
At least 2 years of professional front-end development experience.
Strong hand-coding skills in JavaScript.
Fluent knowledge of HTML5/CSS3 standards and best practices.
Experience with CSS preprocessors like LESS or SASS.
Understanding of browser and device differences/limitations.
Experience with browser-based development tools.
Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Preferred Skills and Qualifications
Experience with Vue, Angular 10/11, or similar frameworks.
Experience with storybook development practices.
Experience with Invision and DSM design platforms.
Experience working on large, high-traffic websites.
Mobile platform development experience.
Experience in a Microsoft .NET environment.
