Is your CV ready If so, and you are confident this is the role for you, make sure to apply asap. Guidehouse is seeking a Data Scientist to join our Defense and Security Segment. The individual will collect, transform, integrate, and analyze data to identify trends, assess performance, develop visualizations in support of organizational and mission goals, and support decision-making for human resources programs for our national security and federal law enforcement clients. Responsibilities include: Support business decisions by providing quantitative and qualitative data analysis and reporting via dashboards and reports. Analyze and interpret business problems using business intelligence tools that incorporate data from internal and external sources. Identify and analyze trends or patterns, and prepare ongoing reports and data visualizations to support business decisions. Contribute to reports on key performance indicators, identify operational improvements, and perform root cause analysis. Communicate findings and insights to peers and mid-level management. Create specifications for reports and analyses based on business needs. Collaborate with team members on projects and initiatives. Utilize Power BI and other analytic tools for data visualization and business intelligence. Deliver client services, support business development, and participate in internal initiatives and professional development. Minimum qualifications: An ACTIVE and MAINTAINED TOP SECRET Federal or DoD security clearance. Bachelor's Degree. Five (5) or more years of professional experience in data analytics. Proficiency in Python and/or Power BI dashboard development. Proficiency in Excel, including pivot tables. Strong communication and organizational skills. Ability to manage multiple projects. Strong problem-solving skills. Preferred qualifications: B.S. or B.A. in a quantitative field (e.g., data analytics, mathematics, statistics, computer science). Experience documenting requirements, creating specifications, and preparing wireframes/flowcharts. Experience with HR data analytics and Power Apps. Excellent organizational and time management abilities. The annual salary range is $113,000 - $188,000, depending on experience and qualifications.
