Ability to work independently, gather business requirements, and prioritize tasks is essential. Familiarity with DNR and/or Wisconsin state development infrastructure is a plus. Responsibilities include developing websites and internet applications using Microsoft .NET technologies such as ASP.NET, Silverlight, and related programming languages (e.g., Visual Basic, Visual C++, Visual C). Tasks involve designing and coding web front-end and back-end applications, integrating multimedia content, and supporting web services. This is a career development position requiring moderate skills and increasing proficiency, typically with four to five years of experience or equivalent education. Must Have: Ability to work independently with critical thinking and discretionary decision-making skills. Analyze requirements, architect solutions, implement, and test final technical solutions. Experience with Visual Studio 2015-2017. Application development and support of IIS/ASP.NET/MVC/DB2/Oracle Server systems using Visual Studio. Knowledge of application design patterns. Database design and management. Proficiency with ASP.NET MVC, C#, Web API, ASP.NET Web Forms (VB.NET and C#). Experience with Team Foundation Server (TFS).
