We seek Platform Engineers passionate about supporting DevOps tools and emerging technologies. As a Platform Engineer, you'll drive significant transformation within Capital One.

General Responsibilities

• Collaborate with product owners to understand application capabilities and testing scenarios
• Continuously enhance software engineering practices
• Design, develop, test, implement, and support technical solutions across full-stack development within Agile teams
• Ensure the craftsmanship, availability, resilience, and scalability of solutions
• Stay updated on tech trends, experiment with new technologies, participate in tech communities, and mentor peers
• Promote innovation, cutting-edge technology adoption, inclusion, teamwork, self-organization, and diversity
• Utilize scripting languages like Python, SQL, Ruby, Groovy; container orchestration tools like Docker and ECS; configuration management tools including Ansible and Terraform; and various AWS services

Basic Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent
• At least 5 years of experience troubleshooting and configuring video management systems
• At least 5 years of experience with video analytics
• At least 5 years of experience installing and troubleshooting access control systems

Preferred Qualifications

• 6+ years troubleshooting and configuring video management systems (e.g., Lenel Onguard, Genetec, Briefcam, Mastermind, Verint OpCenter, Verint Video Inspector)
• 6+ years experience with security applications (e.g., DMP RemoteLink, DMP Entre, XpressEntry, KeyTracer)
• 6+ years installing and troubleshooting electronic devices (access control panels, door controllers, intrusion alarms)
• Lenel Certifications
• 1+ years experience with analog POTS lines
• 1+ years experience with AWS CloudSentry

The salary range for this role in Richmond, VA is $144,000 - $164,400. Salaries vary by location and are reflective of the offered role.
