The primary responsibility of the Digital Print Production Operator is to operate and complete all digital printing (B&W/Color) production for maximum production efficiency.

- Responsible for operating digital commercial printers using Fiery Command Workstation.
- Assisting in our large format department with installations & production work when available
- Responsible for imposing files for print & running alphagraphics software
- Works with Production Scheduler to prioritize and manage daily job production
- Produces orders accurately, efficiently, and quickly while maintaining the highest quality standards
- Updates job status and location in MIS system
- Always runs a proof copy and compares it to the work order
- Controls waste and redos by quality-checking jobs as they are being produced
- Completes Quality Assurance documents for all printed jobs
- Tracks waste, spoilage, usage, and inventory for all digital printing machines
- Maintains a clean and organized work environment
- Ensures that all service “clicks” are credited by the service technician in each call, including credit for poor-quality copies
- Other duties as assigned
- Digital printing/ Graphics designing experience is preferred but not required.
- Ability to multi-task and organize several activities and tasks concurrently.
- Ability to work flexible hours and overtime, if needed.
- Ability to maximize profit through the efficient use of time and equipment.
- Can perform basic bindery functions.
- Graphic design skills are preferred but not required.
- Customer service experience is preferred but not required.
