Primary Purpose
Assist teachers in classroom preparation and management of activities, working under the supervision of a certified teacher.
Qualifications
- Education/Certification: Minimum of a High School Diploma or GED, plus two years of college (48 hours), an Associate's Degree, or passing the Paraprofessional Assessment of Competencies (administered by Alvin ISD). Transcripts should be presented at interview if shortlisted.
- Valid Texas Education Aide Certificate (available through Alvin ISD upon hiring).
