We're seeking a visionary Principal UX Designer to lead our Privacy initiatives in the Trust organization. This design leader will be focusing on infusing privacy and trust throughout the Alexa+ experience. The right candidate leads with clarity and empathy, inspires others, and has a passion for solving problems at massive scale. You excel through innovation, creativity, and attention to detail. You are a proven strategic thinker and collaborator who flourishes in a large organization. You sincerely believe that design is more than how something looks, but also how it feels and functions. Working closely with senior executives, you'll translate complex strategic objectives into intuitive, elegant experiences.
Key job responsibilities
In this role, you'll be responsible for implementing user-centric design solutions that deliver tangible business results, measuring success through improved efficiency, increased user satisfaction, and enhanced ROI. Working closely with senior executives, you'll translate complex strategic objectives into intuitive, elegant experiences that drive organizational change. This requires a deep understanding of both design thinking methodologies and business strategy, allowing you to bridge the gap between user needs and business goals.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's degree in UX Design, HCI, or related field
- 10+ years in experience design
- Expert knowledge of design systems and AI-enhanced products
- Strong portfolio demonstrating sophisticated design solutions
- Mastery of modern design tools (Figma, Sketch, etc.)
- Outstanding communication and presentation skills
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Deep understanding of GenAI applications in business transformation
- Expertise in agile methodologies and lean UX principles
