POSITION TITLE: Graphic Designer
REPORTS TO: Creative Services Manager
DIRECT REPORTS: None
STATUS: Exempt
LOCATION: Prefer In-Office/Hybrid - Will make exception for Remote for the right candidate
INTERDEPARTMENTAL CONNECTIONS: ACF Office Team, Chapter Volunteers, Vendor/Partners.
POSITION HIGHLIGHTS: Responsible for the execution of the American Culinary Federation and American Culinary Education Foundation, known as Organization, brand and image. Contributes to the development and production of marketing materials, both external and internal, to support the objectives of the Organization. Ensures consistent implementation of brand guidelines by all parties.

ESSENTIAL
DUTIES

POSITION
OWNERSHIP:
- Handles creative services project requests and ensures project deliverables are met within the deadline.
- Responsible for the creation and production of ACF-branded collateral, including advertising, brochures, signage, event materials, newsletter templates, and business materials.
- Responsible for the creation and production of ACF culinary trend publications which include highly illustrated bi-monthly print/digital magazine and bi-weekly digital newsletter.
- Coordinates printing and production projects with vendors.
- Creates digital assets for websites and social media.
- Coordinates photo database.
- Enforces brand guidelines to ensure correct implementation among all parties.
- Assists with general office duties, including answering phones, as needed.
- Other duties as assigned.

EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS:
A Bachelors
degree
in
graphic
design
EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
A minimum of 5 years graphic design experience in an agency or business setting required. Working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite products including InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop and Acrobat. Experience in Microsoft Office products, email marketing such as Higher Logic, Constant Contact and familiarity with web design necessary. Experience in nonprofit a plus.
SPECIAL
KNOWLEDGE
REQUIRED:
Familiarity with email marketing, Microsoft office, video editing, digital marketing and/or UI experience.
WORK ENVIRONMENT:
This is a full-time position, Monday Friday. The position is a hybrid with three in-person days per week at the ACF National office in Jacksonville, Fl. Fully remote may be a possibility for the right candidate based on qualifications.
