The UX Designer is a dedicated advocate for the end-user, responsible for crafting intuitive, engaging, and accessible user experiences for analytical platforms, dashboards, and digital tools. This role involves conducting thorough user research, translating insights into user flows, wireframes, and prototypes, and iteratively refining designs based on usability testing and feedback. The UX Designer ensures that complex data outputs are transformed into user-friendly visual experiences, strictly adhering to human-centered design principles and accessibility standards, ultimately enhancing user satisfaction and productivity.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive user research, including interviews, surveys, and usability testing, to understand user needs, behaviors, and pain points for analytical platforms and tools
• Translate user research findings into compelling user flows, wireframes, prototypes (using tools like Figma, Adobe XD), and high-fidelity mock-ups
• Design intuitive and effective user interfaces (UI) for data analytics platforms, dashboards, and interactive visual experiences
• Ensure all designs rigorously comply with accessibility standards, including commercial equivalents of Section 508 requirements (e.g., WCAG 2.1 AA), for inclusive usability
• Collaborate closely with product managers, developers, and data scientists to ensure design feasibility, technical implementation, and seamless integration of user experience
• Iteratively refine designs based on user feedback, usability testing results, and analytical performance data
• Translate complex data outputs and analytical insights into clear, concise, and user-friendly visual experiences that facilitate understanding and decision-making
• Develop and maintain design systems, style guides, and UI component libraries to ensure consistency and efficiency across products
• Champion human-centered design principles throughout the product development lifecycle
• Stay current with emerging UX/UI trends, tools, and best practices, particularly in data visualization and healthcare technology
• Contribute to the overall user experience strategy, ensuring a cohesive and positive user journey
• Present design concepts and rationale to stakeholders, articulating design decisions clearly and persuasively
  
  

Experience Required:

• 5+ years of professional experience as a UX Designer, UI Designer, or Product Designer, preferably in a data-intensive or healthcare technology environment
• Strong portfolio demonstrating expertise in user research, wireframing, prototyping, and user interface design
• Proven experience with design tools such as Figma, Adobe XD, Sketch, or similar
• Solid understanding and practical application of accessibility standards and human-centered design principles
• Experience conducting usability testing and translating findings into actionable design improvements

• UX/UI certifications (e.g., Nielsen Norman Group (NN/g) certifications, HFI-CUA (Human Factors International - Certified Usability Analyst))
