Description
Job Overview: As an Assistant Community Manager, you will support management in the overall operations of Community Association business and deliver exceptional customer service to owners, residents, clients, and vendors. Your Responsibilities:
- Provide exceptional customer service to clients and vendors at all times
- Respond to inquiries and resolve questions or concerns promptly
- Assist with daily financial management and recordkeeping
- Assist with the bid process
- Conduct regular site inspections as needed
- Maintain all records in Connect, including work orders, resident info, association documents, and community info
- Ensure proper maintenance of all files, records, and correspondence
- Attend all necessary Board meetings
- Assist in preparing Board meeting agendas, management reports, and other necessary documents
- Help establish an annual calendar of association activities and deadlines
- Assist walk-in homeowners and refer to the Community Manager when necessary
- Handle mailings as needed
- Maintain binders with agendas, modification requests, work orders, and financials
- Meet weekly with the Community Manager to review open action items
- Maintain regular attendance and punctuality
Skills & Qualifications
- College degree or equivalent experience
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in customer service
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Knowledge of basic accounting and budgeting
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks
- Ability to maintain detailed records and organize data
- Effective planning and organization skills
- Ability to work in a stressful environment and handle adversarial situations
Physical Requirements / Working Environment
- Sitting, standing, lifting up to 25 lbs, and walking on uneven surfaces
- Extended periods of sitting and standing
- Effective communication skills (phone and in person)
- Dexterity for typing and using office equipment
- Ability to work indoors and outdoors in varying conditions
- Extended hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
What We Offer
Full-time benefits including medical, dental, vision, paid holidays, and a 401k match. Occasional travel for training and events. Compensation: $19/hour.
