We are seeking a dedicated Assistant Property Manager to join our team. The role involves supporting the Community Manager, managing administrative tasks, ensuring compliance, assisting with leasing and resident services, and supervising staff. The ideal candidate will have previous experience in residential property management and a commitment to maintaining a positive community environment.

Responsibilities
- Act as the Community Manager in their absence.
- Ensure compliance with tax-credit or set-aside apartment regulations.
- Handle financial transactions and record-keeping accurately.
- Monitor lease expirations, renewals, and delinquent accounts.
- Assist with leasing, marketing, and resident activities.
- Maintain accurate and complete resident files.
- Support accounts payable processes.
- Train staff on property management software systems.
- Coordinate repairs and maintenance requests.
- Respond to after-hours emergencies.
- Assist with eviction procedures when necessary.
- Foster a positive environment for staff and residents.
Qualifications
- Encouraged to earn ARM or CAM designation.
- Complete and pass Fair Housing Test.
- Obtain Compliance Training Certificate (for Tax Credit or Set-Aside communities).
- Valid driver’s license.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Rent Roll, AMSI, and Yardi Systems.
- Professionalism, teamwork, organization, and attention to detail.
- Leadership ability.
