Rose Valley Management is looking to hire an Assistant Community Manager to join our team!
Job Summary:
The Assistant Property Manager will assist the Community Manager in the overall operation, and the day-to-day implementation of policies, procedures, and programs to ensure a well-maintained community. They will work with the Community Manager to ensure compliance with all applicable regulatory agencies and laws at federal, state, and local levels, maintaining a supportive environment for all residents.

Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- A current and valid Driver’s License
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in property management or leasing
- Positive, friendly, and ambitious attitude with excellent problem-solving, multitasking, listening, and deductive reasoning skills
- Ability to communicate professionally and effectively with prospects, co-workers, residents, vendors, and corporate staff
- Strong passion for delivering top-notch service to ensure high customer satisfaction and retention
- Knowledge of federal, state, and local laws including Fair Housing
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Working knowledge of RealPage software is strongly preferred
Responsibilities:
- Prepare, process, and sign leases and community rules
- Assist Property Manager with vendor invoices and accounts payable
- Manage rent collection, receipting, and deposit preparations using RealPage software
- Write letters and prepare legal notices to residents
- Submit reports and maintain records according to policies
- Provide documentation, consult with attorneys, and participate in legal proceedings like evictions
- Assist in preparing weekly owner’s reports
- Support marketing efforts to achieve occupancy goals
- Demonstrate excellent problem-solving, listening, and reasoning skills
- Empathize with residents while enforcing community rules and policies
- Operate within Fair Housing guidelines and have full knowledge of community responsibilities
- Perform other duties as assigned
A Rose Valley Management Assistant Community Manager plays a pivotal role in our success at each property. This role requires good judgment, discretion, and the ability to relate well to residents, visitors, vendors, and staff.
