All CCA Campuses About Calvary Christian Academy Calvary Christian Academy, a ministry of Calvary Chapel, is a community of Christian believers dedicated to making disciples of Jesus Christ through a biblical school environment. Our mission is to prepare students to glorify God spiritually, academically, and socially, with a vision to reach our community and change our world. Position Purpose The Director of Communications is responsible for sharing the heart and vision of CCA, building relationships, and managing strategic cross-media campaigns (print and online). This includes overseeing creative teams and ensuring effective communication across all platforms and departments. Scope This role involves collaboration with all school departments and campuses to develop communication strategies. The director manages a team of writers, editors, graphic designers, and web developers. Responsibilities
Oversee all communication channels related to Calvary Christian Academy. Align communication efforts with the organization’s vision, mission, and brand identity. Maintain consistency in design and messaging for major campus events. Collaborate with departments to enhance communication with the school community. Lead and manage the creative team to promote teamwork and productivity. Meet with clients (departments and campuses) to assess needs and propose ideas. Develop new communication concepts based on client input. Manage the department budget. Qualifications and Skills
Strong personal commitment to Jesus Christ and alignment with Calvary Chapel’s Statement of Faith. Excellent interpersonal, management, and organizational skills. Experience managing teams and budgets. Exceptional verbal and written communication skills. Proficiency in computer skills and event coordination. Educational background in development, public relations, communication, or marketing. Work Schedule Full-time (40 hours/week), with occasional evening or weekend work for events or emergencies.
