Job Title: Audio Visual Technician

The Audio Visual Technician will be responsible for setting up, operating, and striking AV equipment for various events. This includes running and taping cables, setting up speakers, mixers, projectors, and other AV gear as required. The technician must have strong technical understanding and be able to adapt to ever-changing environments. They should also possess exceptional interpersonal skills to provide excellent customer service to clients.

Responsibilities:

1. Set up and operate AV equipment for events, including running and taping cables, setting up speakers, mixers, projectors, and other AV gear as needed.
2. Work as part of a team to ensure smooth execution of events and provide exceptional customer service to clients.
3. Remain technically adept in changing environments by referencing equipment manuals and troubleshooting as necessary.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in setting up and operating AV equipment is preferred.
• Strong technical understanding of AV equipment and troubleshooting skills.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work well with a team and clients.
• Physical ability to lift heavy equipment and perform loading/unloading tasks.
• Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and equipment.

Note: This position is on-call, requiring flexibility in scheduling and availability for events.
