JOB SUMMARY:
Responsible for performing nightly preventative, diagnostic, and corrective maintenance of all audio and visual equipment; provides repair of large computer-controlled audio/visual, electronic messaging, projection, network, and lasers.
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Perform inspections and preventative maintenance on resort A/V systems, projection systems, laser systems, and network systems, including testing, cleaning, replacement, verification, calibration, and daily startup procedures.
- Diagnose system failures and implement immediate and long-term corrective actions to improve operational reliability, safety, and serviceability of audio/visual, projection, laser, and network equipment using systematic troubleshooting and referencing technical manuals and CMMS system data.
- Enter data into the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS), log inspections, repairs, and parts needed, and complete physical logs and follow chain of command for notifications.
- Complete PQS qualification and related training, and train new technicians on venue-specific procedures and processes.
- Respond to downtime, show element repairs, and recovery issues, adhering to safety regulations and engaging positively with internal partners.
- Perform projects and modifications to audio, visual, network, or laser equipment as directed, updating documentation and following management protocols.
- Perform duties as outlined in the Technician, Show Systems Surveillance job description.
- Participate in Environmental, Health & Safety responsibilities by following policies, procedures, and training.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
EDUCATION:
- High school diploma or GED required; electronic or electrical degree from a two-year college or technical school preferred.
EXPERIENCE:
- 5-7 years of experience preferred, with knowledge of audio and video theory and practical skills.
- Advanced knowledge in setup and maintenance of A/V systems preferred.
- Electronics training and/or experience in design, installation, or maintenance of A/V systems preferred.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:
- Completion of orientation checklist in CMMS required.
- Regulatory training including forklift, high reach, heavy equipment, and Lock-Out Tag Out required.
- Ability to work third shift required.
