Overview
We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented UI/UX Developer with strong proficiency in Figma to join our design and development team in Houston, TX! This is a 12-month contract role, onsite 2-3 days a week in Houston, TX. You will be responsible for translating user needs and business requirements into engaging, intuitive, and visually compelling digital experiences.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and prototype user interfaces using Figma for web and mobile applications.
- Collaborate with product managers, developers, and stakeholders to define user experience goals and design strategies.
- Conduct user research, usability testing, and iterate designs based on feedback.
- Create wireframes, user flows, mockups, and interactive prototypes.
- Ensure design consistency across platforms and maintain design systems.
- Work closely with front-end developers to ensure accurate implementation of designs.
- Stay current with UI/UX trends, tools, and best practices.
- Proven experience as a UI/UX Designer or Developer with a strong portfolio.
- Proficiency in Figma and other design tools (e.g., Adobe XD, Sketch, InVision).
- Solid understanding of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript is a plus.
- Experience with responsive and adaptive design principles.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
- Familiarity with accessibility standards (WCAG).
- Knowledge of front-end frameworks like React or Angular is a bonus.
