CostQuest Associates (CQA) is an employee-owned broadband consulting firm specializing in economic cost modeling, broadband planning, government advisory, network valuation and appraisal services, and developing GIS (geographic Information System) data for the broadband ecosystem. We are seeking a product marketing professional who will develop and execute strategies for our industry-leading data and SaaS products. The ideal candidate is an excellent communicator, capable of listening and asking insightful questions to deepen understanding of the industry, CostQuest’s offerings, and customer needs. You should be able to understand complex technical topics and communicate them clearly to both experts and novices. You are comfortable digging into details but also know when to step back. You are a self-starter, motivated to solve complex problems and contribute to our Business Development team. Your storytelling skills will help create compelling content that highlights product value and generates interest. Additionally, you will help develop new brand stories for upcoming products in development.

This role involves working closely with the Vice President, Senior Manager of Marketing, Visual Content Designer, and other staff and partners to grow our data and SaaS products. Given the niche and complex market environment, developing a strong online presence and building face-to-face relationships are essential. The candidate should develop an understanding of telecommunications economic and network issues, federal regulation, and policy, and communicate confidently within these contexts.

Minimum Requirements

Education:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field

Required Experience & Skills:

• 3+ years’ experience in Marketing, Marketing Communications, or related field
• 3+ years’ work experience in content marketing, content writing, social media marketing, or related
• Strong writing and storytelling skills for various marketing mediums, including long and short form content
• Ability to analyze data and convey complex ideas clearly in both written and visual formats
• Organized, proactive, meticulous, and capable of managing multiple projects
• Experience supporting product marketing strategies and tactics
• Exceptional communication and presentation skills
• Proficient with SEO tools like Google Search Console
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite

Preferred Skills:

• Proficient in website and social media data analysis using tools like Google Analytics
• Experience with key social channels such as LinkedIn, Twitter, YouTube
• Familiarity with website CMS systems like WordPress
• Use of visualization tools such as PowerBI, Tableau, Google Data Studio
• Experience with email marketing platforms like MailChimp

Other Requirements:

• Willingness to travel approximately 20% to Cincinnati, OH, Washington, D.C., and industry events
