Software Development Engineer - Amazon Publisher Services, 3P Demand
Job ID: 2967408 | Amazon Advertising LLC
Amazon Publisher Services (APS) helps digital publishers worldwide build and grow thriving businesses. We provide services and advanced technologies to web, mobile app, and advanced TV publishers of all sizes, including many of comScore’s global top 100, to help monetize their content with demand from multiple programmatic buyers. Our server-side header bidding solutions are fast and reliable across devices, handling billions of queries daily, delivering ads in milliseconds. This results in more profitable advertising for publishers and more relevant ads for customers.
Just as 3rd party sellers transformed Amazon’s e-commerce business, they are accelerating the growth of APS. We develop solutions that operate at internet scale, used across Web, Mobile, OTT, and Audio devices. APS is a market leader, ranked second among SSPs after Google. Our technologies include Javascript, React, Ruby on Rails, Java, DynamoDB, MySQL, and various proprietary tools.
We seek a motivated backend/fullstack engineer to develop tools and services supporting 3rd Party Buyers in optimizing ad traffic and increasing bid win rates. Responsibilities include building APIs, data pipelines for partner analysis, and real-time data enrichment in distributed systems processing internet-scale data.
Minimum Qualifications
- 3+ years of professional software development experience
- 2+ years of experience in system design or architecture, focusing on reliability and scalability
- Proficiency in at least one programming language
Preferred Qualifications
- 3+ years of full software development lifecycle experience, including coding standards, code reviews, source control, build processes, testing, and operations
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent
