- Design, build, and maintain websites primarily using WordPress, including custom themes, plugins, templates, and advanced configurations.
- Customize and maintain themes, templates, and plugins to align with brand and functional specifications.
- Collaborate with content creators, designers, and marketing teams to update site content and integrate media and SEO best practices.
- Optimize websites for performance, mobile responsiveness, accessibility (WCAG 2.1), and cross-browser compatibility.
- Manage website hosting environments, DNS records, SSL certificates, backups, and updates.
- Implement and troubleshoot integrations with third-party services such as CRMs, payment gateways, email marketing tools, and analytics.
- Ensure websites follow best practices in terms of security, backups, scalability, accessibility, and site speed.
- Monitor website traffic, analyze metrics using tools like Google Analytics, and recommend performance improvements.
- Maintain detailed documentation of website structure, customizations, updates, and administrative protocols.
- Advanced experience with WordPress development, including theme customization and plugin integration.
- Strong knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and PHP.
- Experience with major WordPress builders such as Elementor, Divi, or WPBakery.
- Familiarity with SEO fundamentals, schema markup, and on-page optimization.
- Working knowledge of WooCommerce for WordPress-based e-commerce projects.
- Proficient with version control systems (e.g., Git).
- Experience with website migration, staging environments, and site backup/restoration processes.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Experience with Shopify, Squarespace, Webflow, Wix, or other no-code/low-code platforms.
- Proficiency in managing cPanel, FTP/SFTP, and hosting control panels.
- Knowledge of JavaScript frameworks (e.g., React, Vue) for integrating dynamic features into websites.
- Familiarity with email marketing integration (Mailchimp, Constant Contact), CRM tools, and marketing automation.
- Understanding of web accessibility standards and experience using tools to test WCAG compliance.
- Experience with performance optimization tools like GTmetrix, Google PageSpeed Insights, or WP Rocket.
- Graphic design experience or familiarity with tools like Adobe XD, Figma, Canva, or Photoshop.
