THE ROLE OF A COREPOWER YOGA STUDIO COORDINATOR
As a Studio Coordinator (SC), you support the world-class CorePower Yoga studio experience, including coordinating studio operations and maintaining the highest health and safety standards. In alignment with our Core Values, you work alongside the Studio Manager to deliver results and foster growth towards company and studio goals. This is a full-time, entry-level position designed to help you learn the business and develop relevant skills.
Studio Presence and Guiding the Student Experience
- Act as an ambassador of the CorePower Yoga core values and inspire these values in others
- Support the Studio Manager in achieving goals such as membership growth, retail sales, community outreach, teacher and SET recruitment, and programming enrollment
- Commit to 32-40 hours per week in-studio, including health and safety protocols, front desk guidance, and team support (if certified)
- Be flexible with your schedule within the agreed hours to serve the studio and team needs
- Serve as the point of contact for students and staff when the Studio Manager is absent
- Maintain studio supply inventory, ensuring amenities and cleanliness are always available
- Engage with the studio community, greet students by name, and foster a welcoming environment
- Support teachers in learning POS and other pre/post class duties
Coordinate and Execute Health, Safety, and Cleanliness Protocol
- Uphold high standards for cleanliness and safety, ensuring the studio space meets CorePower standards
- Communicate health protocols to students upon entry and during their visit
- Assist in cleaning, stocking amenities, and maintaining cleanliness protocols during shifts
- Lead orientation and training for new Studio Experience Team members
- Coordinate operational systems such as POS, online reservations, subbing applications, and HRIS
Teaching Schedule
- Support the class schedule by teaching at least 6 branded CorePower Yoga classes weekly and assisting with subbing as needed
Skills & Experience
- Must demonstrate CorePower Yoga core values
- Excellent communication, professionalism, and interpersonal skills
- Experience in customer service
- Preferred: Completion of a 200-hour Yoga Alliance certified program, Yoga Sculpt teacher training
- Familiar with studio systems such as HRIS, POS, scheduling, and payroll
- Ability to build relationships across diverse personalities and levels of experience
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, prioritize tasks, and take initiative
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite
- College degree (BA/BS) preferred
THE FINE PRINT
- Availability must match business needs, including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Physical ability to move around the studio, crouch, reach, and lift up to 25 lbs.
- If certified to teach, must be able to step in for classes with minimal notice
