Comcast NBCUniversal has announced its intent to create a new publicly traded company ('Versant') comprised of most of NBCUniversal's cable television networks, including USA Network, CNBC, MSNBC, Oxygen, E!, SYFY and Golf Channel along with complementary digital assets Fandango, Rotten Tomatoes, GolfNow, GolfPass, and SportsEngine. The well-capitalized company will have significant scale as a pure-play set of assets anchored by leading news, sports and entertainment content. The spin-off is expected to be completed during 2025.
Job Description
This role is responsible for creating, curating, and optimizing content across promotional platforms (e.g., websites, mobile apps, social media, streaming services) to engage audiences, increase visibility, and support marketing campaigns. You will work closely with creative, marketing, and technical teams to ensure cohesive storytelling and consistent brand messaging.
Job Duties
Develop and produce compelling promotional content (copy, images, videos, metadata) tailored to various digital platforms. Manage content calendars and schedules for promotions, launches, and special events. Coordinate with design, video, and editorial teams to deliver high-quality promotional assets. Collaborate with marketing and product teams to align content with strategic goals. Monitor performance metrics Ensure brand voice, tone, and style consistency across all promotional materials. Stay updated on industry trends, platform changes, and emerging content formats.
Qualifications
Basic Requirements:
3+ years of experience in content production, preferably in broadcast, digital media, or marketing. Strong writing, editing, and storytelling skills with a portfolio of promotional work. Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Premiere Pro, After Effects, Photoshop) or equivalent. Excellent organizational, communication, and time management skills. Ability to work both independently and collaboratively across departments. Understanding of cross-platform content strategies and audience engagement best practices.
Desired Characteristics
2+ years of experience in content production or digital marketing, preferably in entertainment, media, or tech. Proficient in CMS tools, Adobe Creative Suite, and content optimization tools (e.g., Google Analytics, SEO tools). Strong writing, editing, and storytelling skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment. Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills.
Additional Requirements
This position has been designated as hybrid, generally contributing from the office a minimum of three days per week. Experience with video editing or motion graphics. Familiarity with audience engagement strategies and user behavior analytics. Bilingual Eng/Spanish
