Davis Ad Agency is seeking a Web Development Lead to drive execution and innovation across a variety of digital builds—from modern headless sites to legacy WordPress platforms. This is a hands-on role for a detail-oriented developer who’s confident in their code, collaborative with designers and marketers, and passionate about user experience and performance. You’ll lead web projects from strategy to deployment, working closely with a junior developer and cross-functional teams. You’ll help define our dev standards, contribute to technical architecture decisions, and play a key role in optimizing our web output for both speed and SEO. What You’ll Do Integrate headless CMS platforms (e.g., Sanity, WordPress) using GraphQL or REST APIs Maintain and update legacy WordPress websites as needed Collaborate with designers to ensure pixel-perfect implementation of creative work Ensure all sites are optimized for performance, accessibility, and SEO Deploy and manage sites using modern tools like Vercel Support and mentor a junior developer; help establish and evolve best practices Stay current with emerging technologies and bring new ideas to the table Work with marketing and analytics teams to support tracking, testing, and optimization initiatives What We’re Looking For 3+ years of front-end development experience in an agency or fast-paced environment Working knowledge of databases, API architecture, and basic server-side principles Familiarity with technical SEO, schema markup, and best practices for indexability and performance Experience with WordPress (including theme modification and plugin usage) Strong understanding of UI/UX principles and responsive design Version control (Git) and modern deployment workflows Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to self-manage deadlines and priorities Added Advantages Experience with A/B testing, analytics integration, or marketing funnels Familiarity with web accessibility standards (WCAG) Familiarity with marketing concepts like conversion optimization and landing page best practices Experience working with marketing or analytics teams Apply Now First Name* Last Name* Email* Phone* City* State* Location Preference* Have you worked in an agency or fast-paced environment?* Years of Full-time Web Development Experience* Resume (PDF only, max 10MB)* A bat and a ball cost $1.10 together.
