Full-time Faculty Positions
Full-time faculty positions will be posted on a per-opening basis. Postings are organized by college/school and department. Applicants will be evaluated at the college/school level for the position which they are submitting an application. Unless noted by a close date, positions will remain open until they are filled. Part-time Faculty Positions
DePaul University invites expressions of interest for a pool of qualified Part-Time Faculty to teach courses across all 10 colleges and schools. Individuals may submit their credentials to any posting for which they are qualified. Postings are organized by college/school and department. Screening is ongoing based on curricular need and funding. Selected candidates will be contacted if they reach the finalist stage for specific courses. The pool remains active until the specified closing date; resubmission is required to remain in the pool beyond that date. All applicants will be notified via email when the posting closes.

Responsibilities
The College of Law seeks expressions of interest for part-time faculty in the Legal Analysis, Research and Communication (LARC) program. The law offers courses in legal drafting across various areas:
- Civil Litigation
- Child and Family Law
- Criminal Law
- Health Law
- Intellectual Property
- Real Estate
- Transactions
- Trusts & Estates
Opportunities also exist to teach general and advanced LARC courses, including appellate brief writing and oral advocacy.

Required Qualifications
JD degree and at least 5 years of professional experience in the legal field. Demonstrated expertise in a specific area of law or legal study. Experience teaching in a diverse learning environment is also required.

Exceptions to standard rates may apply for courses with unique credit hours, supervision, labs, clinical/practicum components, coaching, administrative tasks, or courses with varying enrollment levels.
Compensation and Benefits
The salary range is estimated between $3,250 and $5,500 per course, based on qualifications and experience. Benefits information is available at: depaul.edu
Academic Calendar
Except for the College of Law, which operates on a semester system, DePaul University generally follows a quarter system. The College of Law's academic calendar includes 16-week fall and spring semesters and a 7-week summer session.
