UX UI Designer

Position Summary

Execute UX and product design, create wireframes, storyboards as well as high fidelity designs, and adhere to internal brand and UI standards. The UX/UI designer will combine interfaces and workflows to enhance the user experience and should be able to grasp user needs and solve problems. They will be involved in everything from early brainstorming through to execution and refinement.

Essential Responsibilities

• Develop story boards, user flows, prototypes and wireframes to specify proposed experiences; includes design objectives & rationale, as well as interaction details to facilitate interpretation of your designs
• Create and optimize new and existing user interface and visual designs
• Maintain and evolve all design guidelines for our design properties
• Present proposed experiences to a range of partners: product managers, business analysts, delivery managers, developers and Marketing, Creative, and Technology teams
• Quickly acquire a detailed understanding of project scope & business requirements, as well as technology constraint and incorporate as you create proposed experiences
• Plan, conduct and report on usability tests and other user research activities; think creatively about how to get user feedback and nimbly incorporate insights into Agile development process
• Conduct competitive analysis and heuristic evaluations of current state as input to your design recommendations
  
  

Minimum Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in UX/UI design, interactive design, or equivalent experience.
• Bachelor's Degree in a related area or like experience
• User Centered Design - practice and articulate to stakeholders
• UX Testing Methodologies
• Ability to leverage previous user research, web analytics and other data points
• Proficient in using design tools such as the Sketch, Invision, and Adobe Creative Suite
• A strong portfolio of UX and UI work samples
• Great communicator
• Experience within inclusive design and meeting accessibility standards

Non-Bargaining

The anticipated starting base pay for this position is: $82,800.00 to $117,600.00 per year
