Need candidate who has worked on development projects and not in support projects.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Support the development of new applications and enhancements to existing web applications using best practice design patterns to ensure robust scalability.
Implement application designs that meet market needs and are easily extended with evolving business needs.
Ensure compatibility and interoperability of the product API with external API consumers.
Review project ideas and provide technology input, prescribing appropriate application solutions which balance business requirements with Generac’s technology standards to arrive at the optimal solution.
Develop code to support the completion of the application architecture.
Write user and technical specifications in line with business needs.
Maintain technical expertise in emerging technical trends.
Main Technical Skills:
Stream processing systems, In-memory databases.
Scrum Developer Certification.
Experience working cross-functionally and with a global team.
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Business or related field.
Minimum 5 years’ experience in commercial software development in one or more of the following roles: Designer, Developer, Software Engineer, Systems Analyst or equivalent.
