Job Summary/Description:
KMOV is seeking a Photographer/Editor to shoot and edit video footage of various news events. The role involves capturing compelling visuals and editing media for daily broadcasts. Candidates must operate high-tech multimedia equipment, including ENG vehicles. This is a per diem, part-time position, with various shifts expected.
Responsibilities:
- Shoot and edit news stories in a compelling, brand-focused manner.
- Operate and maintain multimedia equipment, including ENG vehicles.
- Assist in maintaining editing and archive systems.
- Coordinate hardware setup and operation.
Qualifications:
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Journalism, Film, or Communications.
- Minimum two years of experience as a Photographer, preferably in TV.
- Experience with Edius, Avid, i-news, ENPS, and internet production tools.
- Strong shooting and editing skills, with good news-gathering abilities.
- Excellent communication skills, ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Team-oriented, self-starter, detail-oriented, and able to meet deadlines.
- Valid driver's license with a good driving record.
- Flexible schedule for part-time shifts.
