Job DescriptionCompany Description
Since 2004, Hoppen Home Systems has provided services in the design, install and support low voltage systems for the residential and commercial market. Our services include home theaters, lighting control, home automation, whole house audio/video, security, CCTV, access control, and central vacuum systems to name a few. We are seeking experienced service installation technicians and programmers with 3-5 years experience to work out of our rapidly growing Tampa area office.
Required Qualifications:
- 1-3 years experience in Control4 programming and system setup
- 1-3 years experience installing, calibrating, Whole House Audio/Video, Home Theaters and Surround Sound Systems
- Must be able to work independently, as well as within a team
- Strong organization and time management skills with an ability to understand priorities and work efficiently with little to no supervision
- High Level of customer interaction – must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Able to read and interpret blueprints and technical documents
- Possess a valid FL driver’s license and be able to operate a company service vehicle
- Neat and professional appearance
- Must be able to pass required background check and drug test
Optional Qualifications:
- 3-5 years experience in security system; wiring, setup, programing, troubleshooting and setup monitoring
- 3-5 years experience in CCTV systems; wiring, design, setup, troubleshooting and connect to the internet
- 3-5 years experience in Structure wiring (Voice, Data and coax); cabling, termination, pin outs and testing
- Experience with RTI, URC, Elan, Crestron; opportunity for Control4 training
Physical Requirements:
- Lift 75 pounds
- Climb stairs, ladders and work safely at heights
- Must be mechanically inclined – Have your own tools and able to handle and properly use common power and hand tools
