They are seeking a talented and experienced UX Design contractor to develop user-centered design solutions that will enhance the functionality and search experience on our company intranet. This role requires onsite presence at least 2 days per week. Responsibilities: Support and/or develop user-centered design solutions for all levels of products and digital initiatives via user interface solutions and interaction models. Prioritizes initiatives and coordinates deployment of current and future User Experience (UX) design projects. Serves as a UX project lead, representing and managing team involvement of large complex technical projects. Oversee/direct most complex/unusual tasks with significant impact and broad latitude. Develop and recommend comprehensive user experience (UX) strategies. Analyze the user experience by evaluating the applications end-to-end, seeking out opportunities for improved experiences. Influence project team members and business partners by explaining the impact of designing/developing with the end-user in mind. Define user experience goals and oversees research initiatives. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, User-Centered Design/Human-Computer Interaction, or the equivalent combination of education, training, and experience. Extensive experience of design fundamentals, such as color theory, typography and composition. Experience in interaction design, visual design, and industry standards. Extensive experience of user centered design processes and best practices. Expert knowledge of best practices for web and mobile-based content, tools, and forms.
