Part-Time Graphic Designer and Marketing Coordinator

Express Employment is seeking a part-time in-house graphic designer and marketing coordinator for a water filter company. Job duties include:
- Design and produce on-brand marketing materials including brochures, catalogs, specification sheets, presentations, flyers, trade show graphics, and advertisements, both print and digital.
- Create engaging digital content such as social media graphics, website banners, email templates, infographics, one-page educational flyers, catalogs.
- Develop and maintain brand guidelines for consistent visual identity.
- Collaborate with the team to understand marketing objectives and translate them into effective designs.
- Provide design support for marketing campaigns and events.
- Contribute to digital marketing efforts across social media, email, and online advertising, focusing on visual elements.
- Assist with event planning, providing design support for promotional materials.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to align on marketing initiatives and gather information for design projects.
- Support third-party marketing agency efforts, ensuring brand consistency.
- Manage and organize design files and assets.
- Stay updated on design and marketing industry trends.
Job Qualifications
- Proven graphic design experience with a strong portfolio showcasing marketing and advertising materials.
- Bachelor’s degree in graphic design, visual communication, or related field preferred.
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) and Canva.
- Solid understanding of design principles, typography, color theory, and layout.
- Experience designing for print and digital platforms.
- Familiarity with digital marketing tools and social media platforms.
- Knowledge of Google Analytics is a plus.
- Experience with WordPress and product photography is a plus.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent organizational and project management skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Creative mindset with the ability to generate innovative design ideas.
- Ability to understand technical product attributes and create clear visual representations.
Other Details
- Position is 20 hours per week during Monday – Friday, 8am – 5pm.
- Position is on-site.
- Pay rate is $18-26/hr depending on experience.
- Position is temp to hire.
