The Marketing Coordinator plays a vital role in supporting the planning, execution, and optimization of marketing initiatives. This position is responsible for coordinating day-to-day marketing activities, ensuring alignment across campaigns, and helping to drive brand visibility and customer engagement.
The role involves developing and implementing integrated marketing strategies across digital, print, events, and social media channels. Working closely with internal teams and external partners, the Marketing Coordinator ensures projects are delivered on time, within budget, and aligned with brand standards. This role is suited for a detail-oriented, creative professional who thrives in a collaborative environment and is eager to contribute to the organization’s marketing growth.
Major Duties and Responsibilities include:
- Content Strategy Development
- Develop and execute content strategies aligned with marketing and business goals.
- Conduct market research to identify content opportunities and audience needs.
- Create a content calendar for consistent publishing across platforms.
- Content Creation and Management
- Write, edit, and proofread content for websites, blogs, emails, and social media.
- Collaborate with internal teams to produce multimedia content.
- Manage content updates on digital platforms.
- Performance Analysis and Optimization
- Monitor content performance metrics to evaluate effectiveness and ROI.
- Optimize content for SEO and user engagement based on analytics.
- Implement A/B testing to refine strategies.
- Branding and Collaboration
- Ensure content aligns with brand voice and messaging.
- Coordinate with departments to align content with campaigns.
- Build relationships with external vendors for content production.
Minimum Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or related field, or equivalent experience.
Skills:
- Familiarity with marketing tools (Google Ads, Analytics, HubSpot, MailChimp, Canva, etc.).
- Understanding of AI tools like ChatGPT, Murf.ai, etc.
- Strong branding, digital marketing, and customer engagement knowledge.
- Excellent writing and storytelling skills.
- Proficiency with content creation tools (Adobe Creative Suite, Canva).
- Knowledge of SEO and analytics.
- Experience with CRM and marketing automation.
- Strong project management skills.
Additional Requirements:
- Certification in Content/Digital Marketing or SEO preferred but not required.
- Valid driver’s license.
Travel: Occasional travel for events and trade shows.
