Role Summary

The Assistant Visual Manager supports the selling, service, and operations of the store with an emphasis on merchandising and display to create an inspiring and dynamic visual environment that promotes fitness, wellness, and happiness.

Role Responsibilities

Brand Experience

• Acts as a brand ambassador, reflecting company values and partnering with leadership to create engaging visual experiences for FP Movement customers.
• Encourages the team to participate in selling and visual initiatives that enhance the customer experience, building relationships through personalized service and shared interests in wellness and fitness.
• Uses innovative in-store marketing, merchandising, and display techniques to craft a compelling store environment.
• Supports the development and execution of local event programming to boost FP Movement engagement, collaborating with fitness and wellness partners.
• Ensures a seamless omni-channel shopping experience by effectively utilizing MPOS, POS, and FP App.

Leadership + Team Management

• Trains staff on store processes, merchandise placement, and standards, guiding them to prioritize customer service and styling to meet store goals.
• Participates as a manager-on-duty, fostering engagement, collaboration, and strong decision-making skills.
• Assists in recruiting, onboarding, and retaining top talent, ensuring alignment with brand values and store objectives.

Visual + Business Operations

• Maintains daily operational standards, including sales forecasting, scheduling, and payroll management.
• Uses company tools to analyze business opportunities and collaborates with community partners to drive brand presence and sales.
• Coordinates shipment processing, restocking, and product placement, ensuring visual standards are upheld while processing omni-channel orders efficiently.
• Adheres to safety, inventory, and loss prevention policies to support store profitability.

Communication + Relationships

• Leads inclusively, fostering open dialogue and supporting team development.
• Ensures effective communication of company updates, visual priorities, and brand messaging through daily team meetings.
• Provides insights on customer experience and feedback to the Store Manager.
• Protects time for direct reports' development, setting goals and providing constructive feedback.

Role Qualifications

• At least 1 year of store visual merchandising and leadership experience.
• Passion for FP Movement and connection to the local fitness community.
• Flexible availability including nights, weekends, and holidays.

Pay Range

Starting from USD $23.00/hour.
