Coders Connect are hiring on behalf of an early-stage AI research company pushing the boundaries of audio data. Their mission: build the highest-quality datasets powering speech and voice models for some of the world's leading AI labs and tech giants.
We're looking for an
Audio Research Lead
to drive the R&D roadmap-leading model development, research direction, and collaborating cross-functionally with engineering and operations.
What You'll Be Doing Lead the development of novel audio models and signal processing techniques Prototype research ideas and develop PoCs for major AI partners Design benchmarks to evaluate dataset quality Work at the intersection of ML research, data collection, and product
Requirements
What You Bring PhD in Audio Signal Processing or similar technical field 5+ years of industry research experience Expertise in speech/audio ML and DSP Experience with dataset design and empirical data analysis Ability to lead research and influence product development
Bonus:
Experience in startup environments, leadership roles, and publications at top research venues.
