Base pay range
$149,000.00/yr - $205,000.00/yr
We are seeking a dedicated 3D Artist to serve as a crucial link between our artistic and engineering teams. This role involves collaborating closely with a multifaceted, interconnected team dedicated to crafting engaging experiences to demonstrate technology use cases between research and product.
3D Artist | XR Tech Responsibilities:
- Partner closely with the engineering and design teams to develop experiences across a range of devices
- Pathfind and adopt new GenAI technology workflows for Artists
- Create visually compelling 2D imagery, 3D renderings, characters and environments
- Prototype, profile and optimize custom shaders, and lighting scenarios
- Implement runtime logic within a complex real-time environment with performance limitations in mind
- Consistently give and take constructive feedback, direct next steps, and communicate clear goals and outcomes to your team
- 7+ years of experience developing real-time experiences
- Demonstrated expertise with at least one of the following pipelines: Runtime Behaviors, or Asset Pipeline
- Experience in content authoring packages (e.g. Maya, Substance, Houdini, Blender, etc.)
- Experience in content Artificial Intelligence packages (e.g. ComfyUI, Stable Diffusion, Flux. etc.)
- Experience working with Unity and/or Unreal
- Expertise in at least one low-level programming language
- Understanding of architecture for complex tools and pipelines with a focus on content creators
- Experience in shader languages (Open Graphics Library Shading Language, ShaderLab, High-Level Shading Language)
- Experience with game/real-time profiling and optimization techniques
- Experience collaborating on multi-disciplinary teams
- Expertise working with version control systems (Git, Perforce, etc.), using advanced workflows
- Virtual Reality, Mixed Reality and Augmented Reality experience
- Demonstrated experience of real-time graphics pipeline concepts
- Experience with creating Low-Rank Adaptation models
