About The Role
TriVertex Solutions is seeking a highly experienced Senior UX/UI Developer to lead user-centered design efforts for a major federal digital modernization project. This role blends UX research, interaction design, and front-end development to create intuitive, accessible, and visually engaging web experiences. The ideal candidate will bring a strong portfolio of user research and prototyping work, as well as advanced skill in translating design concepts into responsive, browser-agnostic front-end code.
Clearance: This position supports a federal contract and requires the ability to obtain a public trust clearance.
What You'll Do

• Plan and conduct user research throughout the project lifecycle, beginning in the discovery phase.
• Develop user personas, journey maps, interview guides, and other key UX research artifacts.
• Create interactive, high-fidelity prototypes using tools such as Sketch, InVision, and Adobe XD.
• Design and implement responsive UI components using HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript.
• Translate UX findings into elegant front-end implementations using frameworks like React and Angular.
• Ensure all interfaces meet accessibility standards and are optimized across browsers and devices.
• Collaborate closely with developers, solution architects, and stakeholders to ensure a seamless user experience across systems.
• Participate in iterative testing and design refinement based on feedback and usability data.
• Contribute to design system and style guide development as part of a scalable design strategy.
  

• 8+ years of experience in UX/UI design and development with a focus on enterprise or public sector web applications.
• Proven expertise in:
• User research methods and outputs (personas, journey maps, usability testing)
• UX/UI tools such as Sketch, InVision, and Adobe XD
• Front-end development using HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript
• Frameworks such as React and Angular
• Deep understanding of Human-Centered Design principles and accessibility compliance.
• Ability to work across the full lifecycle of a project, from research through production-ready front-end code.
• Strong collaboration and communication skills; able to articulate design decisions to technical and non-technical audiences.
• Must be based in the continental U.S.
• Experience working on federal government contracts highly desired.
