We are seeking a passionate and dedicated part-time Teacher of the Visually Impaired (TVI) to join an exceptional school district in Knox County, IL for the 2025-2026 school year.
Developing and implementing individualized education plans (IEPs)
Teaching students strategies for accessing the curriculum, including braille, assistive technology, and adaptive materials.
Collaborating with classroom teachers, specialists, and families to create an inclusive learning environment.
Location: In-person (no hybrid or remote options)
School Schedule: 8:00am-3:30pm
Bachelor's degree in education, special education, or related field.
Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) with Visual Impairment (TVI) endorsement.
A passion for empowering visually impaired students and fostering their academic, social, and emotional growth.
