Head of Audio Growth & Strategy
The Head of Audio Growth & Strategy will lead our company's audio initiatives, including enhancing our existing audio app and developing new applications, strategies, and partnerships to transform our audio experiences. This role requires a strategic leader with strong business acumen, platform integration expertise, analytics skills, and monetization strategies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute strategic plans for audio content, aligned with brand and platform goals.
- Establish partnerships with audio platforms, sponsors, distributors, and content creators to expand reach and impact.
- Collaborate with product, marketing, and tech teams to develop revenue and audience growth strategies with clear targets.
- Drive content strategy to minimize user friction and meet metrics for revenue, acquisition, conversion, and retention.
- Lead the development of new audio applications that leverage print content and create seamless user experiences.
- Coordinate with editorial, content production, marketing, and technology teams for successful audio product launches.
- Define and monitor key performance metrics to evaluate success and guide content optimization.
- Analyze user feedback and performance data to improve existing content and inform future production.
- Conduct regular analytics meetings focused on performance, competition, and growth opportunities.
- Partner with finance to optimize audio budgeting and business models for growth.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 8 years in audio, media, or digital strategy, with at least 4 years in leadership.
- Proven success in mobile app growth and user acquisition strategies.
- Experience launching and optimizing audio/media/content products, preferably for consumer brands.
- Partnership experience with major media platforms, sponsors, and content creators.
- Strong project management skills and ability to prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of SEO, ASO, and digital marketing tactics.
- Strategic thinking with analytics-driven decision-making skills.
- Expertise in media monetization models, data analytics, and performance metrics.
- Experience managing budgets, financial models, and media business plans.
- Familiarity with CMS and analytics tools like Google Analytics.

An analytical mindset, results-driven focus, and adaptability to evolving environments.
Location & Travel:
Based in the NYC Metro Area or remote with quarterly travel to Danbury, CT. Candidates from California, Ohio, North Dakota, Washington, and Wyoming are not eligible.
Salary:
$100,000 - $130,000, commensurate with skills and experience.
