Job Description Oncology Portfolio Access Marketing Lead
Develop US oncology market access strategy & tactics across all access stakeholder segments (i.e., system-level payer stakeholders and strategic accounts) for the oncology portfolio
Develop, maintain and measure impact of materials (behavioral objective, value story, tools, resources, training) that support the organization and field teams to realize Business Unit strategic and financial goals
Lead US market access related activities across the portfolio such as market research, training, access strategy, cross-portfolio initiatives
Own strategy and access tactics across the oncology portfolio within the USOBU
Develop US oncology market access strategies and capabilities to be applied across inline and future pipeline assets, supported by analytical and qualitative insights, aligned to the US OBU’s strategy. Lead the development & maintenance of the PVA strategic plan.
Advise brand team on US access landscape for the OBU portfolio and execute on addressing key issue areas and critical success factors based on franchise decisions according to franchise decisions. Active contributor in brand planning process
Lead the planning, implementation, and rollout for assigned programs and tactics to ensure that they deliver against defined strategies. This includes project management, issue identification and resolution, overseeing progression of pieces through internal review processes (e.g., MLR), training of internal stakeholders, and the development of measurement frameworks and metrics to measure effectiveness
Working with a cross-functional team of PVA LT, the L&D team and other key stakeholders identify access training objectives to execute meaningful training curriculum
Extract deep insights, through analytics, market research and third-party sources
Partner with market research and analytics to extract deep access insights leading to the development of Oncology strategies and value story
Lead the execution of key insight generation activities such as advisory boards, syndicated research & reports and customer engagements
Understand macro market trends (via blogs, media articles, government affairs, thirds party research), its impact to the OBU and any action plans needed to react to/or take advantage of key trends
Partner with cross-functional teams (Global PVPA, marketing, HEOR, Medical Affairs, Finance, Contracts, government affairs, etc.) Partners with Global PVPA on pipeline/BD assessments in order to ensure accuracy and strategic alignment of US OBU inputs
Partner with Insights & Analytics to forecast impact of access trends into financial and brand planning process
Patient Services Marketing
Develop & implement key strategies and initiatives for patients, healthcare providers and Takeda field organizations in support of Takeda Oncology Here2Assist.
Oversee all internal & external print & digital communications including management of the budget and approval of materials through appropriate governance committees.
EDUCATION, BEHAVIOURAL COMPETENCIES AND SKILLS:
~ Bachelor’s degree in a related field; MBA preferred
~7+ years of pharmaceutical industry experience (manufacturer, consulting) required
~5+ years of experience in US payer strategy, analytics, marketing, and/or consulting related experience
~ Strong knowledge of US payer market dynamics and how managed care organizations make decisions across commercial & public channels
~ Deep understanding of US healthcare system, Oncology ecosystem stakeholders and strategic accounts
~ Demonstrated ability to coach commercial and medical leaders on payer/market access issues
~ Oncology marketing and/or launch experience a plus.

~ Willing to travel in the US up to 20%

The actual base salary offered will be in accordance with state or local minimum wage requirements for the job location.
