The Team:
The Visual Merchandising team supports the Hermès of Paris US network by enhancing the in-store client experience through targeted and strategic display of merchandise collections, while also optimizing sales. They also collaborate on Retail and Communications activities to elevate the brand identity.
The Opportunity:
As the Regional Visual Merchandising Manager, Northeast, you will oversee the visual merchandising quality and consistency across boutiques in American Dream, Short Hills, Princeton, King of Prussia, and Washington DC. This role involves extensive in-store merchandising, interpreting Group guidelines to improve store atmosphere, client experience, and business goals.
About the Role:
- Maintain and elevate visual displays across 5 boutiques, ensuring consistency.
- Partner with store teams, Store Directors, Regional Retail VP's, VP of VM, and Corporate to address sales challenges and strategize using visual displays.
- Educate store teams on VM standards and seasonal guidelines.
- Manage display props inventory.
- Provide feedback and images to Corporate VM departments.
- Support window installations and animations, collaborating with vendors and teams.
- Travel within the region and support new store openings and renovations.
- Manage T&E budget and expenses.
- Travel seasonally to Paris for visual feedback during buying seasons.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Budget Responsibility: None
Decision-Making Responsibility:
- Local visual display planning aligned with US and International VM objectives.
- On-site judgment during window installations.
- Guide in-store animations in coordination with Events and Client Experience teams.
- At least 5 years in Visual Merchandising management, multi-store experience preferred.
- Strong communication and leadership skills.
- Ability to interpret and adapt guidelines.
- Detail-oriented, self-motivated, and organized.
- Strategic, innovative thinking, and strong interpersonal skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Word and PowerPoint.
