At Huntington, we offer tutoring for children ages 5 to 17 in Reading, Writing, Mathematics (Algebra, Geometry, Calculus, Statistics), Study Skills, Phonics, Vocabulary, Science, Test Prep, High School Entrance Exam preparation, and SAT/PSAT & ACT preparation. To ensure our students have a successful educational experience, our tutors undergo intensive initial and ongoing training in Huntington teaching methods and our comprehensive curriculum.
If you are a qualified, caring, and dedicated certified teacher or SAT/ACT/subject tutor interested in working directly with students, we offer you the opportunity to do what you love—TEACH! At Huntington, there are no lesson plans to write or homework to grade. You'll gain valuable experience respected in the education field while working in a flexible environment with after-school, weekend, and summer hours.
Requirements include:
- Certified teachers must provide a copy of their teaching certificate
- Minimum 4-year diploma required for all tutors
- SAT/ACT tutors must provide scores or be willing to take an evaluation
