Our Client, an Utility and Energy Generation and Distribution company, is looking for a Technical Writer for their Omaha, NE location.
Responsibilities:
- Hold an engineering degree and have two or more years of experience in technical writing.
- Possess excellent written, verbal, and listening skills, and the ability to work well with others.
- Have strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Be responsible for writing technical operating instructions for pipeline, compressor, liquefied natural gas, and underground gas storage facilities.
- Understand electrical, mechanical, and natural gas processing, along with a strong technical writing background.
- Collaborate with engineering and field operations to develop technical operating instructions.
- Edit and format all technical materials into the provided format.
- Meet deadlines to ensure documentation is available as requested.
- Perform duties consistent with established safety and quality procedures and standards.
